Academic Associate

An Academic Associate works as a full-timer, and has responsibilities to:

• Be in charge of TAs;

• Do other tasks assigned by the CM and AC.

• Conduct demonstrations to teach skills, such as sports, dancing, and handicrafts;

• Plan, prepare and develop various teaching aids;

• Take class attendance and maintain attendance records;

• Observe students’ performance and record relevant data to assess students’ progress;

• Assign and marking homework;

• Control and take care of students in class;

• Tutor and assist students individually or in small groups to help them master assignment or reinforce learning concepts;

• Have class substitutions as requested;

• Support teachers in class/during the course;

• Provide customer care services at the center;

1. 1. Qualification

      • University seniors and above with major in English;

      • Having IELTS Certification is a plus.

   2. Knowledge

      • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar

      • Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects

   3. Skills

      • Instructing – Teaching others how to do something;

      • Problem Solving – Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions;

      • Monitoring – Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action;
